Our expectations
when you join

Boundaries help define the edges of what we are, protect and bring clarity to our purpose and journey together. They help to unite us and help establish us. These are our boundaries as a Go Global family, the expectations we have of each other and anyone joining us on our journey.

1. We expect senior leaders, their churches and networks to be aligned with, and uphold the vision, theology and five core values outlined above. This includes the formal use of the ‘Foundations course’ in their membership training offering. We would expect Go Global leaders and their churches to agree to formal accountability on this with the Go Global Apostolic team as a foundation of membership.

2. We expect senior leaders, and their core teams to actively and regularly engage with the personal mentoring, pastoral support and leadership development training offered, as outlined above in ‘Our commitment’

3. In line with our value of maintaining a healthy organisational culture, senior leaders agree to regular formal and informal review of their leadership, and of their church health and growth by their Apostolic lead, under the oversight of the Apostolic team.

4. In alignment with our vision, theology and values above, ministry leaders and their churches in the Go Global family are expected to tithe church income to the Go Global SCIO as their spiritual ‘Storehouse’. This will allow us to fulfil our intention to generously resource the planting of new churches, support existing churches and “always remember the poor”.

5. We expect our senior leaders, their churches and networks to participate in 2 moments of fasting and prayer each year (a week in September and a week in January), these will be moments for churches to pray through their local priorities as well as praying for Go Global.

6. We expect that senior leaders, their churches and networks will make the most of the opportunity to learn via the Global Classroom.

7. We expect Senior leaders, their churches and networks will passionately engage with the process of releasing leaders to plant new churches.

8. We expect Senior leaders will give time to serve and build relationships beyond their local setting, to be a blessing to the Go Global family and other churches.
